The box office opens 30 minutes before the first scheduled screening of the day.

Founded in 1973, the Cinema Arts Centre is Long Island's leading nonprofit cinema and cultural center located in Huntington, NY. In addition to first-run independent, international, and documentary films, we present more than 500 special events annually, including filmmaker appearances, festivals, educational programs, discussions, concerts, and community events.

Tickets & Admission

Regular screening ticket prices are:
Public: $16
Members: $8
Seniors (65+) and Students (with ID): $14
Children (12 and under): $5
Special event pricing may vary.

Yes. Tickets may be purchased online through our event calendar or in person at the box office.

Online ticket purchases include a service fee of $1.75 per ticket.

Phone ticket purchases are available for Sponsor, Patron, Director's Circle, and Cinema Friend members.

All ticket sales are final. The Cinema Arts Centre does not offer refunds or exchanges.

No. You may present your tickets on your mobile device when you arrive.

Membership

Members enjoy discounted tickets, advance access to select events, a quarterly program guide mailed to your home, discounts at other select Art House Cinemas, and other benefits depending on membership level.

The Cinema Arts Centre offers several membership levels, including Individual, Dual, Senior, Young Film Fans, Sponsor, Patron, Director's Circle, and Cinema Friend memberships.

Memberships can be purchased or renewed online, by mail, or at the box office.

No. Renewals extend your membership from your current expiration date.

Yes. Simply log into your account when purchasing tickets online to receive your member discount.

No. Membership benefits, including complimentary tickets, are intended for the member(s) associated with the membership and may not be transferred to others.

If you have lost your membership card, please contact the Box Office at (631) 423-7610 or email info@cinemaartscentre.org to request a replacement. In the meantime, our staff can look up your membership at the box office when you purchase or pick up tickets.

For online ticket purchases, simply log into your account using your email address or member number and password.

You can update certain account information by logging into your account on our website. Once logged in, you will be able to update your address, phone number, password, and communication preferences.

Food & Beverage

Yes. Traditional movie concessions are available, along with beer, wine, and organic snack options.

The Sky Room Café is the Cinema Arts Centre's gathering space, offering snacks, beverages, and a place for the local community to socialize. Live events are also hosted in the Sky Room Café.

No. Outside food and beverages are not permitted anywhere in the theater or Sky Room Café.

Parking & Transportation

The Cinema Arts Centre has ample parking, both in front and behind the building. Handicapped accessible parking is located near the front entrance.

Yes. The Cinema Arts Centre is located in Huntington Village and is accessible by public transportation including the Suffolk County Transit (SCT) and the Huntington Area Rapid Transit (HART) bus lines.

Programs & Events

We present a wide range of screenings, including independent, international, documentary, repertory, family films, cult and classic cinema, as well as select mainstream releases. The Cinema Arts Centre also hosts annual film festivals, lecture programs, live concerts, state-to-screen broadcasts, comedy, live performances and 35mm screenings. 

Yes. Throughout the year, we host filmmakers, actors, authors, scholars, musicians, and other special guests for discussions, introductions, and Q&As.
