Each of our three theaters were recently renovated with brand new seats, screens, carpets, lighting, sound proofing, ADA accessibility, and an upgraded ventilation system. Private rentals are generally available Sunday through Thursday. With rental availability dependent upon Cinema Arts Centre programming.

The Sky Room Café is a 2,200 square foot room which overlooks a picturesque sculpture garden.  With film exhibition and PowerPoint presentation capabilities on a big screen and a high-quality sound system, this space is ideal for corporate breakfasts, birthday parties, retirement parties, conferences, seminars or any occasion.

The Cinema Arts Centre is pleased to present our popular Film Arts in Education screenings for schools in Nassau and Suffolk counties. Traditionally, these ongoing community outreach activities have consisted of easily arranged and modestly priced field trips for junior and senior high school students and are an important part of our year-round exhibition program of outstanding American and international films.

Films can enliven and enrich your students’ educational experience in a variety of ways: as introductions to the language and culture of other countries, as opportunities to see and hear dramatizations of great literary works, and as explorations of past history or contemporary society. Designed for students in the International Languages, Literature, Social Studies, Film Studies, History, Music, Criminal Justice, and the Arts, our programs can also be used in conjunction with the interdisciplinary area studies and innovative curriculum projects popular in so many of our region’s schools.

If you are an educator and interested in setting up an Arts In Education screening for your class, please write to Matthew Roren at cacartsined@gmail.com. Please include your class subject and the day and time you are interested in booking a show. 

Please note: Groups should be a minimum of 50 students. Requests should be made at least 1 month in advance as spaces can fill up quickly. Price per student may vary depending on group size and film selection. Payment is required prior to the start of your show. The concession is not open during Arts in Education screenings. All visiting schools will be required to provide a certificate of insurance prior to their visit if one is not already on file.
