Preview Club is a special advance screening series of new, award-winning & critically acclaimed independent feature films, documentaries & foreign-language films that takes place at the legendary Cinema Arts Centre. All of our screenings are followed by exciting conversations with talent (including filmmakers, producers, screenwriters & actors) moderated by Preview Club curator & host Isil Bagdadi-Sergio who has been successfully producing, publicizing & distributing indie films for over 25 years. As a member of Preview Club, not only will you get to see some of the most powerful, inspiring & cutting-edge indie films prior to their NY release, but you’re also invited to participate in our Q&A discussions after each screening.

Films & guest speakers are a surprise until the night of the screening! You will be introduced to a wide range of thought-provoking films. The club is also a great social experience, so come early and schmooze! Members are encouraged to fill out comment cards at the end of each film, and the audience feedback will be read by our host at the next screening.

Our host, Isil Bagdadi-Sergio, is an indie film producer, programmer, distributor and publicist. In 2001, Isil & her partner Mike Sergio started CAVU Pictures, a NY-based indie film production & distribution company where they produced & distributed numerous critically acclaimed & award-winning films, including Academy Award winning filmmaker Sean Baker’s Take Out and Eitan Gorlin’s The Holy Land.
