What is the Circle of Friends?

• Helping to discover and solicit new prospects for
  • Program and event sponsorship
  • Financial contributions
  • Membership
• Helping to plan and implement special events by
  • Seeking sponsorship
  • Seeking auction and raffle prizes
  • Seeking donations of food and refreshments
• Growing membership by
  • Calling lapsed members
  • Promoting the benefits of membership in our lobby
• As-needed office support, mailing support, research support
  • Responding to requests via email to perform single tasks in the office or from home

• General volunteer days (including meetings)*:
  • Free coffee/tea, soda, & popcorn
  • Employee pricing for anything else in the café
• Special events volunteers (including planning, solicitation, and/or event night):
  • Two free movie passes (will be added to membership cards)
• Membership promotion in cinema lobby:
  • A movie pass added to membership card for every shift of lobby work**
• Annually:
  • Invitations to special events such as Circle of Friends Garden Party and Holiday Party

The Dr. Frank B. Siegel Memorial Service Award:

• Each year at the Circle of Friends Garden Party, one volunteer is recognized for outstanding accomplishments with a special award named in memory of Dr. Frank B. Siegel

Meetings:

• The Circle of Friends meets once each month excluding July and August, with a choice between an afternoon or evening meeting
